Character Sprite for Upcoming Unannounced Project

Started some sprite animation work of the main character for our upcoming unannounced project. It has been a very long time since I done any pixel art let alone animation so I'm extremely pleased with how well this running animation turned out.

I will be creating some more animation cycles for the character (Idle, Jump, Death). Once the basics are in place a simple prototype will be built to test the characters movement and animations in engine.

Check back frequently over the next few weeks as we begin to provide more details and progress on our project.

Progress on Project H.M.M

So it has been about 2 weeks now since the last update and progress has been going steadily. All of the characters basic animations have been created, these include Idle, Jump and a Roll animation. The death animations will take a bit longer as there will be many death instances which will need unique animations, these will be created over the course of development.

Great news is the character has been loaded into a prototype and is functioning pretty close to what we planned. I will upload a link to my blogger account so you can try out the prototype and let me know what you think!

Next step will be to add a countdown timer and an end level state so that the game has a win and lose state, be sure to subscribe or check back here soon for more information on the development of Project H.M.M
